I was 42 years old when I found out about the Lyme Disease. When I first went to the practitioner in Feb 2022, I hadn't had a period in about 5 months, since Sept 2021. Though I felt I was a bit young for peri-menopause, I assumed that's what it was because it can happen, it just isn't typical. My periods started changing around the time I was 40. They were anywhere from 10-14 days long, then I would have maybe a 2 week break before the next one. This may or may not be related to the Lyme Disease (especially since we don't know how long I've had it), but I'm making note of it just to give the background for what happens from here on out.
I started on Symplex F: Supports Female Health, on Feb 15, 2022. It's one of the supplements my practitioner had me start to help with my peri-menopause symptoms. I was having mild hot flashes, the aches and emotions that go along with a period without actually having the menstrual flow. I was feeling blocked. Turns out, she also noticed the blockage when she did the muscle testing. Yep, you guessed it...parasites and lyme disease in my ovaries and uterus. That explains a lot!
On Feb 23, 2022, I started spotting again. This lasted until about March 2 when my period decided to really show up...full force. It also came with headaches, weakness, light headedness, and alllll the extra aches in my hips and pelvic area. It has been super heavy (like 4-5 times what my heavy days were before). I'm taking this as a good sign that my body is having a good cleanse so that the rest of this process of removing the lyme disease can be even more effective.
